Introducing Cultivate Faith
Cultivate Faith is a PRC’s innovative ministry designed to empower congregations in nurturing the spiritual growth of families and individuals across all ages. We create engaging, innovative curriculum resources that equip families to take the lead in their children’s faith formation, fostering a supportive environment where faith is actively lived out at home.
Our program also provides congregations with essential tools and guidance to enhance their faith formation initiatives, ensuring that they offer high-quality, impactful experiences for all members. Additionally, we facilitate collaborative cohorts for faith formation practitioners, offering a space for sharing best practices, innovative ideas, and mutual support. With Cultivate Faith, congregations can cultivate vibrant faith communities that inspire and empower families on their spiritual journeys.
Connections
Connections is a versatile 52-week curriculum designed to meet the diverse and dynamic needs of today’s congregations. It follows both the RCL and NL. It is written especially for those wanting to provide accessible and flexible faith formation when they have unpredictable attendance and challenges in getting enough leaders. Each week features flexible lesson plans, engaging activities, and adaptable materials that can be easily scaled to fit any group size.
With a focus on fostering meaningful connections among participants, Connections equips congregations to create an inclusive and supportive community, ensuring that every individual can engage deeply in their faith journey. Connections has three components:

Into The Prayground our resource that helps you creatively connect the children’s moment with a purposeful activity in your prayground

Snapshots our resource that helps you creatively connect the Scripture and themes in worship with interactive, multigenerational centers
- Visio Divina our resource that gives you the plans you need to create an interactive way for people to connect with God’s Word.

Holy Moments is a thoughtful set of resources designed for congregations to support families in their faith formation during everyday life. Released each liturgical season, these materials provide practical and engaging activities that families can easily integrate into their existing rhythms. Each resource encourages families to recognize and celebrate sacred moments in their daily routines, fostering a deeper connection to their faith. With a focus on simplicity and accessibility, Holy Moments helps families grow spiritually together, making faith an integral part of their everyday holy moments. We include:

Don’t have enough teachers or kids for your own Sunday School? We provide that! Zoom based, following the RCL. Quality faith formation for children and quality teacher training, all in one!
children’s ministry launchpad
One-on-one coaching from our children’s ministry consultants. Bring everyone involved with Children’s Ministry! We provide you with three one-hour coaching sessions to:
- Build a vision: Define where are you, where do you want to be in 1 year, three years, 5 years, what is important for faith formation across the lifespan.
- Design a curriculum: We play curriculum matchmaker and get you organized with all the materials you need for the upcoming year.
- Get into the nitty gritty: We cover everything you need for effective communication with families and the congregation, how to schedule, safe church policies, and what goes in your supply closet.

Children's Ministry Cohort
Zoom based meetings twice a month for a year. We’re entering our third year and our cohort continues to grow and deepen. If you have children’s ministers looking for a place to share ideas and get help with struggles, this cohort is for them. Currently, cohorts meet Wednesday afternoon or Thursday evening. Register anytime!
Teacher Training Cohort
FOUR Zoom based meetings once a month, this is for multiple people from the church. This will be our second offering of this class. It hits the basics of teacher training and goes deeper into techniques we need to be in effective educational ministry with children, youth, and parents in our current day. Sign ups begin in April for our summer session that begins in May.

Our “All Year Everything Bundle includes everything you need to support your family ministry including:
- children’s ministry cohort membership for the year
- a whole year of Holy Moments, providing you with what you need to be in effective ministry with families, both in church and at home
- a whole year of Connections, providing you with 52 weeks of materials to use in worship and in faith formation, especially for those congregations that do not have teachers to teach, large numbers of children, and limited budgets for human and financial resources.
