Join us as we look at ways to take children’s literature off the shelf from your local public library and use it as a ministry tool. We’ll look at several themes and books that support this process. We’ll also talk about projects that link into the literature and help parents to use them as part of their family’s faith formation.

Elizabeth Christie has worked in the field of Children and Family Ministry for over 25 years within United Methodist, Episcopal, and other denominations.  Additionally, she is a certified special education teacher and has worked extensively with children and adults with various needs. Elizabeth loves finding ways to make activities work for all ages and abilities, and is usually covered in markers, paint, and glitter.
