Jonathan LeMaster-Smith lives in rural Western North Carolina where he has served on staff for many country churches. He recently earned his PhD in Christian Education from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, with a focus on rural communities dealing with the loss of industry. He is married to Shannon, a United Methodist Deacon, and they both serve in local churches in North Carolina.
