About the Presenter


As a Partner with Horizons Stewardship, Scott brings a unique combination of experience, energy, wisdom, and passion to the ministry of stewardship and generosity for your church or nonprofit. With over 25 years of experience in this life-changing ministry, Scott brings to your organization a unique combination of gifts, experience, and training. Scott is an ordained pastor with a Ph.D. in spiritual formation, 25 years of fundraising experience, and the expertise of a trained ICF coach. Scott has also achieved C.F.R.E. (Certified Fundraising Executive) status.
As a national workshop leader, conference speaker, author, and coach, Scott inspires people to live joy-filled generous lives. In his work with churches and nonprofits, Scott has helped hundreds of organizations clarify their vision, tell their stories of life-changing impact, and effectively invite people to give with joy and generosity.
Scott is the co-author of Climb Higher: Reaching New Heights in Giving and Discipleship and Bounty: Ten Ways To Increase Giving At Your Church, and is the author of Generosity Rising: Lead a Stewardship Revolution. His latest works are as co-author of The Generosity Challenge and co-editor of the devotional book, A Generous Life. Through Horizons’ work with organizations, Scott’s devotional booklets have inspired thousands to live and give generously, both here in the United States and abroad.
He holds degrees from Messiah College and United Theological Seminary. His Ph.D. is in spiritual formation from Duquesne University.
Jennifer Williams – After nearly 25 years of ministry, Jennifer has served the small, medium, large and multi-site congregations. While serving as an executive pastor, Jennifer learned her passion for preaching about money. She has managed four uniquely different non-profit businesses (Coffee Shop, Early Learning Center, Nursery School and Multi-Site Church) with a combined budget of nearly $2 million dollars. Jennifer is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation and has over 1000 hours of coaching staff and church members. Jennifer is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and met her husband Warren at Duke Divinity School. They are the proud parents of Theadora, an elementary student in Hershey, Pa.
