Join us as we discuss ways to make confirmation programs accessible to all abilities. We know that God calls us all to be a part of the Body, and our confirmation programs can be a tool in helping to get everyone on the path that God calls them to follow. We’ll discuss techniques for adapting materials, ways of structuring classes and assignments so everyone can participate, methods for managing behavioral concerns, and ways to focus our planning on the gifts and talents each person brings to the Body.
About the Presenter

Elizabeth Christie has worked in the field of Children and Family Ministry for over 25 years within United Methodist, Episcopal, and other denominations. Additionally, she is a certified special education teacher and has worked extensively with children and adults with various needs. Elizabeth loves finding ways to make activities work for all ages and abilities, and is usually covered in markers, paint, and glitter.
