About the Webinar
While there are legitimate concerns and fears concerning AI, there are also many benefits and innovations to help enhance research, communication, administrative tasks, outreach, liturgical preparation, and music. In a time of a shortage of clergy, educators, chaplains, money and volunteers, AI can be a valuable technological tool. That said, flawed people create flawed technology. AI is not God. AI is not our savior. But the Church needs to make sure its voices are heard in debates and regulations concerning law, ethics, and theology. We cannot do that without awareness. This webinar includes discussion of the future of AI both within and without the church; concluding with questions and comments.
