Karen Jackson will over a quick round-up currently available stewardship resources. Charlie Kuchenbrod offered stewardship workshops when he served on the Connecticut Conference UCC staff. Charlie is currently serving as the stewardship committee chair for his own church. He will review the themes of the last three stewardship campaigns: – CIrcle of Blessing, which is centered on the indigenous American concept to All My Relations; – Burn Brighter, which builds on themes from movie Encanto; and – Foundation For Our Future, which uses literal and metaphorical building blocks. While not offering a “turnkey” campaign, the supportive materials should help jump start your own planning. Materials (all free to use) include an original song, a slide show, various appeal letters, sermon seeds, testimonials that can be adapted or used for inspiration, graphics, and other bits and bobs Charlie has lying around or can dig up.

Charlie Kuchenbrod is the Legacy Church Specialist for the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ. He has served the Connecticut and Southern New England Conferences for more than twenty years in a variety roles, primarily focused on finance and administration. Charlie is a resettled refugee from the corporate world, having held a number of executive positions in health care prior to being called to Conference work.
