Youth Confirmation: Transforming Lives and Congregations

Confirmation should not be “Boring!” or an obligation. It is an opportunity for the Spirit to move freely, a place where young people can ask questions about faith and Christian identity, and a time for churches to deepen faith commitments.

About the Webinar

Confirmation should not be “Boring!” or an obligation. It is an opportunity for the Spirit to move freely, a place where young people can ask questions about faith and Christian identity, and a time for churches to deepen faith commitments. Drawing from the findings of the three-year ecumenical Confirmation Project and a new book by the research team, Confirming Faith: Faith Formation as Practical Theology (Eerdmans, 2018), Lisa Kimball will make the case for youth confirmation to be a priority in your ministry. She will offer examples of best practice and creative approaches for congregations of varied size and diverse cultural contexts. Join us! Bring your questions and your ideas.
